Warehouse Management System Basic Level Course

Image The Warehouse Management System Level 1 (Basic) RF training course is an introduction course for new users to warehouse management systems and a refresher course to keep current users skills level up to date.

At the end of the 5 day training course the trainee will walk away with the knowledge and understanding of the operation of a Warehouse Management System to the extent, the trainee will be able to operate RF equipment to industry competency standards.

Training & Assessment
All training and assessment services are delivered by Joss Total Warehouse Solutions professional industry trainers and fully accredited assessors on behalf of The Warehouse Management Training Institute.

Qualification
You will be awarded a Statement of Attainment upon the successful completion of this course

Entry Requirements
There are no pre-requisite qualifications for entry into this program; however, candidates must be able to demonstrate approximately Year 9 levels of mathematics, reading and writing skills.

► Certificate II in Warehousing Operations
► Certificate III in Warehousing Operations

Employment Pathway
This is an entry level qualification for the operation of a warehouse management system in the warehousing industry, ideal for storemen or warehouse operators.

What skills will I gain?
This qualification is designed to give people the capacity to work in the warehousing industry. It provides graduates with an introductory level of knowledge and technical skills in the operation of a warehouse management system, product knowledge and handling skills.

Course Objectives
  ► Develop an understanding of a warehouse management system for the warehousing industry.
  ► Develop communication skills appropriate to a warehouse environment.
  ► Develop skills in the processing of goods including picking, despatch and participating in stocktakes.
  ► Develop skills to process warehouse management system documentation
  ► Develop an understanding of day to day operations of a warehouse management system

Delivery Modes
This course is delivered in our live warehouse environment or in your workplace. The study mode is face-to-face full time. Students are provided with learning materials to develop knowledge and understanding.

Assessment
Assessment includes a combination of written tests and practical demonstration of skills. Student’s competency is assessed against each unit undertaken throughout the course. Students are provided with opportunities for re-assessment if they fail to demonstrate competency during assessment tasks.

Course Cost
This course is eligible for government funding – an eligibility criteria exist. Contact WMTI to find more about the government funding and employer incentives.
Fee for service (FFS) price $990.00 per person.
